What is a Hackathon and why Pronea Hackathon?
A hackathon is an event where programmers, graphic designers, web designers, people from the business environment or other experts look for technological solutions based on assignments from a partner company or municipality.
We decided to bring such a world event to the region of Horná Nitra, which future we see in innovations and technologies respecting the code of ethics.
Who are we looking for in teams?
- secondary school students
- university students
- participants from the business environment
Skills: IT developer (frontend, backend), UX/UI designer, business development, virtual/augmented reality
The purpose of the event
Zhromaždiť za jeden stôl ľudí, ktorí budú riešiť skutočné výzvy z prostredia partnerských firiem a samospráv. Výstupom má byť MVP – minimum viable product.

Jury members will evaluate the individual outputs of the teams based on the following criteria:
- Analysis of the problem - its definition and subsequent solution
- Feasibility study - a controlled process of identifying problems and opportunities
- Social impact – the impact of the solution on individuals and the community
- Relevance – significance and importance demonstrated on real data
- Functional prototype – proving the feasibility and practicality of the solution
- The evaluation of the presentation

How much will it cost me?
Účasť na podujatí je spoplatnená účastníckym poplatkom 15 eur. Strava, nealko občerstvenie a ubytovanie počas podujatia sú v plnej výške hradené organizátorom.
